Clinics

We provide the full range of General Medical Services.  We see patients for new illnesses or conditions as well as offering clinics for long term conditions such as diabetes, COPD and heart disease.  We perform minor  surgery, joint injections and cryotherapy and insert contraceptive coils and implants.  We offer appointments during normal working hours as well as extended hours sessions.

Outside agencies such as the midwives, health visitors, counsellors, drug and alcohol team, smoking cessation service work with us to offer sessions within the practice every week. 

Clinics

Baby Clinic 

Our baby clinics are usually on a Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning. Please note that childhood immunisations can be arranged for other times in the week if necessary.  Please also note that ill children should not be brought to baby clinic but booked in with the Nurse Practitioner or GP for an appointment.  

Antenatal Clinic

Tuesdays and Friday mornings and  early afternoons at Parkside.

Minor Surgery

Regular sessions with Dr Curtis.  You will be notified of your appointment time after being referred by one of the GPs. 

Flu Clinics

Sessions organised when flu vaccine arrives in September/October.  More information nearer the time about dates and eligible patients. 

Women's Health Clinic

Every Tuesday morning, and alternate Wednesdays and Fridays where possible

We do not have formal clinic times for asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, strokes, travel vaccinations or family planning.  Appointments are made throughout the working week.

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

 

Non-NHS Services

We are able to provide a small range of non-NHS services as well but for these a small charge will apply.
